Safety and a smaller carbon footprint play a key role

From the outset, the PARMAdatacenter™ element system prioritizes low-carbon construction and safety.

“Reducing construction emissions is a shared challenge for the entire industry, and we are strongly committed to it. Our goal is to cut emissions by five percent annually and to halve them by 2035 from a 2020 baseline,” says Juha Rämö, Chief Technology Officer at Consolis Parma.

“Environmental responsibility has been one of our primary starting points. We have prepared environmental declarations for all products included in the PARMAdatacenter solution, enabling a significant reduction in the emissions of the concrete element frame,” Rämö continues.

“Security has also been central to our concept. Attacks on critical infrastructure have increased, and data centers must be protected. In our solution, element-based walls and slabs form a durable concrete shell that shields valuable servers and technology from external threats,” Rämö concludes.
