Parma’s data center concept TecnyData consists of design services, prefabricated concrete element deliveries for the data center, and on-site services including installation and casting work. Each data center project can be customized according to project-specific requirements.

Safety and a smaller carbon footprint

In developing the precast concrete system used for data center construction, special attention has been paid to low-carbon construction and safety.

“Environmental responsibility has been one of our primary starting points in developing the data center solution. We have prepared environmental product declarations for all products included in the solution, and these enable a significant reduction in the emissions of the precast concrete frame,” says Sales Manager Satu Parikka.

“Another key factor in developing our data center concept has been security. Attacks on critical infrastructure have increased, and it is important to protect data centers against such threats as well. In our solution, precast walls and ceilings form a durable and firesafe concrete shell that protects valuable servers and technology from potential external attacks,” Parikka concludes.
